Tips for Picking Strawberries

Pick your own plump delicious Ontario strawberries at Nauman's farm in St. Clements, west of Waterloo. When you arrive at the farm, check in at the store. You'll be assigned a row(s) to pick. There are baskets available if you didn't bring your own. Quart size containers are best.

To pick strawberries easily, cup them in your hand and snap the stems between your thumb and forefinger.

Wear comfortable shoes and a large hat.

Bring sun screen and bug spray.

Pop a cooler into your trunk to keep your berries fresh for the ride home.

Take a break, have a seat on our benches and enjoy the view.
