New Year
It’s a new year and we are in the start up mode 2010 and are very excited about what is going to happen here at the farm and at our St. Jacobs Market locaton. At the farm we have just ordered all ours seeds and it looks like we will have even more varities of pumpkins and squash than we had last year, which will be incredible, including a black pumpkin variety for the first time. In Raspberries we are planting a new to our farm red variety called Prelude. We have ordered 5 varieties of Strawberries to add another 6 acres to the strawberry area. We are also expanding our Rhubarb acres with 3 different types and soon will be the biggest grower in Waterloo County. Also at the farm we will be adding new family fun activities and events,more on those latter. At the market this year we plan on new displays, larger stand,and new services including at both the farm and market our new 10% off reusable NAUMAN blue bag, more on this latter.
