Ground Cherry Season
We have limited quantities available at the farm & the market. You can taste-test pie filling at the market today.
Following is a recipe as given to us by the grower…Mrs. Mary Martin….Ground Cherry Pie…
5 cups ground cherries (can use 1/2 apples)
1 1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
…boil for 5 minutes
Mix 1/2 cup clear gel or thermflo with 1/2 cup cold water.
Add to boiling fruit and bring to a boil again.
Pour into 9″ unbaked pie shell and cover with pie dough.
Bake 30 minutes @ 350 F degrees.
It is wonderful pie and we hope you enjoy!
Blueberries…..
will be soon ending. What we have in stock is all that will be available.
We also currently have elderberries available!
Raspberries ending…
Today (Monday) will be the last day of pre-picked berries.
There will be a couple of days of pyo to finish the season.
We will continue to have pre-picked blueberries available…and don’t forget the Corn Maze!
Raspberry Final Stretch!
Raspberries are starting to wind down…so don’t be dissappointed.
There are still red raspberries for PYO, and purple raspberries are available pre-picked (at least thru the weekend) and PYO.
Our CORN MAZE is opening this weekend! Prepare to be challenged!…bring your water & your hats…it can be warm in there! Plan on 20-45 minutes…depending on how lost you may get!
Raspberries are still Plentiful!
You still have lots of opportunity to get your supply of raspberries. Red ones will be winding down in a few days….purple are very plentiful. Come out and enjoy the quiet of picking raspberries.

You can come and pick red berries, purple berries, yellow berries or black raspberries. With the cooler weather, picking is a pleasure!
