Our New Year
Welcome to the 2013 season. All seeds are here, strawberry plants arrive in a few weeks and we open at St Jacobs Market in only 6 weeks. We have some new things happening at the farm and the market this year and as the season opens up we will share them with you. All our wonderful staff will be back and they can’t wait to reconnect with you, our great supporters of our farm.
This year, in conjunction with our beekeeper; we are training certain bees to only harvest nectar from one type of berry to go to a designated hive. This way we will be able to produce unique honey by product, as certain hives will produce Strawberry Honey and another hive will make Pumpkin Honey etc. etc.
Today marks a special day for our Maize creator, Christine (Nauman) Naylor – as it is the 11th anniversary of her 29th Birthday.

Welcome to Pumpkins!!
We are now open daily for pumpkins & squash! We currently have 42 varieties of squash available…for either eating or decorating! And of course mums, straw bales and corn stalks. – All of your decorating needs!
Our Corn Maze & fun area are also open. Come out & enjoy the glorious sunshine & country air!
Berry Season Ended!
Strawberries & Raspberries are now done for the season.
We will continue to have Blueberries at our St. Jacob’s Market stall, while they last. We will try & have Rhubarb there on Saturdays.
The farm will re-open for our Fall season on September 8th. This also will include the corn maze, which is not quite ready yet!

With the severe winter damage our Raspberries incurred this past season, we have been unable to do PYO raspberries…just not enough berries.
This weekend we will still have pre-picked raspberries, and into the week.
Blueberries remain plentiful with pre-picked only.

There are Strawberries – PYO – still fairly plentiful.
Raspberries – Pre-picked available.
There are PYO Raspberries – but it will be a shorter season than normal. – we are now picking purple & red berries.
Pre-picked Blueberries are available.
Saturday July 7
Pre-picked & PYO Raspberries will be in limited supply for the rest of the weekend.
Purple berries will start mid-week, and will be plentiful.
There is still plenty of PYO Strawberries.
